Waiver Agreement
I, the undersigned, acknowledge and understand that participation in the World Sabaki Challenge 2026 is a full-contact combat sports event that involves inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, or death.
I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation, including injury resulting from contact with other competitors, equipment, the competition surface, or event conditions.
I agree that I am solely responsible for any and all injuries, medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, property damage, or losses that may occur as a result of my participation. I understand that the event organizers do not provide medical insurance or coverage for participants.
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the World Sabaki Challenge, Enshin Karate, Sabaki organizations, event promoters, directors, officials, referees, judges, volunteers, staff, sponsors, affiliates, and venue owners from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action, including those arising from negligence, related to injury, death, property damage, or loss sustained during or in connection with the event.
I certify that I am physically and mentally fit to compete, have adequately trained, and have no condition that would prevent safe participation. I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, safety requirements, and instructions given by event officials. Failure to do so may result in disqualification without refund.
I grant full permission for photographs, video recordings, live streams, and other media taken during the event to be used by the organizers for present and future promotional, educational, archival, and commercial purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, broadcasts, printed materials, and marketing related to Sabaki, Enshin Karate, and combat sports events worldwide, without compensation.
I understand and agree that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that if any portion is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
